Lily is in full-on baby fever mode, and when she finds out Nicole's Jessica Glitter had a baby and her friendship with Robin ended as a result, she starts to worry Robin won't want to be her friend anymore once she gets pregnant.

Once the gang hears that Woody Allen has been spotted at a restaurant, they decide to race each other in order to find out who knows the city better. They each use a different mode of transportation to try and reach the final destination, but who will win the end - Ted, Lily, Marshall, Robin or Barney?

Nicole Scherzinger wasn't the only famous pop star that had a guest appearance on this season of How I Met Your Mother. Katy Perry starred as Honey, a lovable yet extremely gullible young lady that just so happens to be Zoey's cousin. During the course of the episode, Ted ends up realizing that he's actually in love with Zoey, who had been his rival for most of the season up until that point. Although there's the hilarious part where Lily and Marshall meet a doctor who may or may not be Barney, that doesn't placate the gut-punch of the last few minutes of the episode.

Marshall's father dying was horrible. Up until this point, the show had been fairly light-hearted, even when dealing with sadder situations. But there was no possible joke that could make this better. Guest-starring Jorge Garcia as Steve, the guy who always missed the best part of everything, it was hilarious from start to finish. Using a gag that directly related to Garcia's role as a lottery winner in Lost might have gone over many people's heads, but it's worth a re-watch for that alone!

Mariana is a year-old Marketing graduate and self-proclaimed business storyteller who loves books, travelling, and the beach. With too many notebooks to keep track of and a persistent feeling of wanderlust, she wants nothing more than to tell stories and pet puppies.

All the puppies! Meanwhile, when Ted begins dating Robin's co-anchor, Barney is inspired to use baby talk to pick up women, and Robin feels betrayed.

S6, Ep7. Marshall struggles to fire an incompetent employee, everyone tries to figure out whom Robin slept with Halloween night, and Zoey, the GNB skyscraper protester, finds a way to turn Ted's class against him. S6, Ep8. Ted and Zoey's feud continues during a fundraiser at the Museum of Natural History. S6, Ep9. While Barney finds a new video from Robin's Canadian teen star past, Lily fears that a baby could come between her friendship with Robin.

Meanwhile, Ted's obnoxious old friend, "Punchy," comes from Cleveland for a visit. S6, Ep When Ted leaves the bar early to prepare a Thanksgiving feast for his friends, the gang winds up partying all night with The Blitz, an old friend from college who has bad luck. As a result, Ted is forced to spend Thanksgiving with Zoey. Ted goes on a boating trip with Zoey's husband, "The Captain. Barney and Robin contemplate drastic positive changes in their lives when Marshall and Lily announce that Lily is pregnant, but renege on their promises when Marshall and Lily tell them that it was a false positive.

Marshall suspects that he is the reason Lily can't get pregnant after meeting a fertility doctor who also happens to be Barney's doppelganger. Meanwhile, Robin's embarrassing past is revealed at work by her former co-anchor. The gang tries to support Marshall and Lily tries to help his mom during Marshall's father's funeral, but Marshall becomes preoccupied when he discovers that he has one final voicemail message from him.

Ted discovers that he is in love with Zoey after she tries to set him up on a date with her naive cousin, and he cuts off their friendship as a result. But little does he know that her marriage status has changed and she loves him too. Lily goes to Minnesota to bring Marshall back, but he's not ready to leave yet.

Meanwhile, Ted and Zoey's relationship gets off to a rocky start, and Barney searches for a female "victim" the night before Valentine's Day. The Captain asks Ted to help find out who stole Zoey away from him, Marshall withholds sex until he does something to help the environment, and Barney is reluctant to admit that he has a crush on Robin's friend.

The gang gets mad at Barney when he lies to Nora and says he wants to get married and have a family to impress her, and Robin begins dating a guy who seems to possess several canine characteristics. Barney finally meets his biological father, but is disappointed to discover that he leads a boring life and is nothing like him.

Ted runs into an ex-girlfriend Rachel Bilson ; Robin is upset over Don; Marshall can't stop talking about his desire to start a family. When the gang helps Barney's mother move, they learn that she has lied to him about events throughout his life; Robin oversells Ted to a blind date. When the gang teases Robin about not being a real New Yorker, she sets out to prove them wrong by racing to catch a glimpse of Woody Allen. Ted becomes conflicted after meeting an attractive woman who is passionate about saving the landmark building being torn down for his new project.

Marshall and Lily try to figure out how to conceive a baby with the gender of their choice; Robin's perky new co-anchor irritates her. When Zoey enrolls in Ted's class, she tries to convince his students to help save the building from being torn down for his project; Marshall and Lily notice Robin marching in the Halloween parade of shame.

The gang attends a black-tie fundraiser at the Natural History Museum; Ted meets Zoey's husband, the captain. When Barney finds a copy of the kids' show featuring Robin's alter ego, the friends learn more about her past as a performer than they expected.
