Where to find pitch wow
Do you really want Humar's tree full of level 80 orc hunters sitting around waiting to grab him, while your little level 20 something has no chance? It would be a good idea if they also put a level 70 Humar into the game, in my opinion.
Btw I just tamed pitch on the beta servers with my level 80 premade. He is exactly where wowhead says, surrounded by some neutral NPC.
He seems to be part of a quest, so should be there most of the time, and have a fairly quick respawn time one tamed or killed. Comment by seen him at This quest begins the chain that leads to picking a side between the Frenzyheart and their rivals, the Oracles. Comment by Killing Pitch for "Part Time Hunter" at the flypoint human doesnt effect your faction with either the Oracles or Frenzy thankgawd. I really really had to sit back and think about if I wanted to tame this oen or not, in the long run, I decided not to, because of Humar.
I have Humar and Echy as my Alli hunter to annoy the the others. Burt other then looks, there wasnt enough to drive me to tame it.
Comment by I'm kind of torn on this one. I camped Humar, paid my dues, and was rewarded for it. In fact any rare I've ever camped I've never actually waited long, just had to get onto my server at an odd time like 6AM. The trouble was worth it then, and adding Pitch doesn't make that time spent any less worth it to me.
So, unless you just got Humar, no reason for regrets in fact everybody got "screwed" in some way by WotLK release I'm sure. That said, now that the black cat skin won't be as rare, I do want to try and grab another rare pet. I don't even know why, really. The "you'll be unique, just like everybody else" argument never bothered me. Because when I saw someone else with Humar, we always 'grats each other.
It was a hunter's right of passage, and we both knew it. Rare pets are like achievements. Pretty much pointless, and yet something many people try hard to obtain.
So long as Blizzard keeps rare skins in the game, and I'm sure they will, hunter's should be happy. I know I am. Comment by Shusha He is located at Comment by Really, it's the auto-leveling of newly tamed pets that is the culprit here.
A hunter can tame Pitch or Humar and it really doesn't matter since Humar will be jumped to 75 as soon as he is tamed by an 80 hunter. What they should do, is make it possible to see how long how many levels a hunter has had a given pet.
Comment by One of the problems with this guy is that if you have to get his remains for The Part-Time Hunter and you are already hated with the Frenzyheart Tribe , then you will have to pull him from the cliff above, making sure not to accidentally pull the 3 elite wolvar standing right next to him.
Comment by I had that pet once on a hunter at Bronze Dragonflight. Comment by ha, it's so easy to get him Comment by yamuu it was gliched i am exalted with oracles i went to kill pitch and the frenzy became yellow i was confused and i flew away worried to lose exalted before i got the rep mount and several pets. Comment by the ability "jump attack" is not avalible after ju tamed him, if anyone wonders as i did. Comment by Not that it matters much but their is a difference between him and Humar.
Humar is an elite so when his name is highlighted humar's level is shown ending with Elite and pitch wont so you can tell which is which. Comment by Pitch also occasionally drops arctic fur when skinned. You can also use it to keep track of your completed quests, recipes, mounts, companion pets, and titles!
