First of all I would say to test on new game as it runs through a cinematic, the map, and a battle sequence all really quickly for trouble shooting.

I redid all the installation from the 2 videos above and I got it to work after 18 hours. Do not give up. It is totally worth it, my wife was making fun of the squares in the unmodified version lol. This is better than upscaling or adding simple filters.

I noticed 2 things wrong with the videos though if you are only trying to get the remako mod to work I would suggest to do this.

In the first video or top video he says to add the bc ff7. Do not do that. CaptRabau use the standard ff7. The second thing I noticed was when they added the remako mod they put it in the 7th heaven folder. Do not do this.

Go to where you installed ff7 and look for ff7's mod folder and place the remako mod directly in the "mods" folder. Then when 7th heaven asks for the library location select the location of your ff7 "mods" folder. Also I had under library in 7th heaven I had to "import" from "Iro archive" and browse manually. I hope this works for you all. Other than that if you follow the guide and videos it should work. I was able to get the mod to work, get the battle health bars to work, and my cinematics stopped saying not a png file.

Good luck everyone! March 26, at PM. Hi, kinda in trouble here, the game converter doesnt work for me, even if i run as admin. Nothing more. Game is installed at other hard drive. Is that a problem?? March 29, at PM. March 31, at AM. I did it on a laptop with win 10 and installed on a different hdd too, and it went smooth, alongside the reunion mod, so i think hdd is not the case, why? At my 1st pc there is no way to start it up March 31, at PM.

Managed to fix the problem. I made a different user in windows 10 and somehow i could start game editor But applying it and then remako, broke battle menu. April 1, at AM. Getting the same error message everyone else seems to be getting. The first time I loaded it, it worked perfectly but my controller wasn't working, so exited the game and started getting the System. Application error again. I have followed the instructions to the letter but to no avail.

Every time the game is trying to start a new music I have an error messsage "can't open music in The FF7 installer did not ask for cd2. Ok apparently I need a mod called Anxious Heart to have the music in. I guess the music cannot work properly with the original pc version.
